Los Angeles, California, May 7th, 2013 – Folk-rock group “She’s A Keeper,” known for their live shows and their passionate fan base, is going out on tour this summer to build anticipation for their sophomore album which will be released in August, 2013. The tour will take them around the Midwest.
The new album showcases the band’s maturing songwriting, and features the same Americana-tinged vibe that brought them early attention from press and fans. Upbeat, energetic, and melodious hooks built on acoustic guitars, banjo, piano, mandolin, and cello are combined with three-part harmonies and make for lively shows. “I think the most important thing for us right now is to spread our music. We’ve started to make a name for ourselves through our earlier recordings, but now we feel we are ready to hit the road and share new material with new crowds. We love to put our music out in front of people, and feel the energy come back from the crowd,” said Zac Jurden, singer and co-writer in the group.
Upcoming appearances include: May 25 at Record Bar in St.Louis; and at Lord Huron on June 10 at The Riot Room.
